Happy 2012 
Last winter, high on the freshness of 2011 and new resolutions… I wrote out a home project list. Over the course of the next 12 months, I crossed off, erased, added, painted, shopped, and amended.
Last year….
Get Serious, Real To-Do List 2011

Order dining room chairs -
Sitting room rug -
Paint fireplace doors (brass to bronze) -
Paint master bathroom vanity -
Paint kids bathroom vanity -
Frame mirror in kids bathroom - Finish curtains in son’s bedroom

Headboard for son’s bedroom - Refinish daughter’s dresser ????
- Build daughter’s bed (w/ help from Ana White & my dad) ????

Remove wallpaper/Paint stairway -
Paint upstairs trim/baseboard/woodwork (and this is last for a reason… holy awful) -
Paint Sitting Room/Dining Room/Add Moulding -
Painted Master Bedroom Walls/Closet -
Rearranged Family Room/added new furniture -
Window Treatment for Laundry Room - Refinish/Paint Secretary for Master Bedroom
Not too shabby! 13 1/2 out of 17 projects crossed off?!
And since it seemed somewhat successful last year, let’s try this again!
This year….
Get Serious, Real To-Do List 2012
- Add new mantle, moulding to fireplace
- Finish curtains in son’s bedroom
- Refinish daughter’s dresser
- Refinish/Paint Secretary
- Art/gallery wall for family room
- Frame children’s artwork for basement
- Frame art for daughter’s room
- New pillow covers in sitting room
- Shelving in dining room
- Art/color in kitchen
- Screened porch overhaul (when Ohio winter is gone!)
- New planters/window boxes (see parentheses' above)
Seems a good start! I promise to share progression, regression, obsession, and pictures along the way! The big project will be #1 Add new mantle/moulding to fireplace… a little nervous about that one.
