There were a million silver linings in the dark clouds over our Ohio this week.
Sick kids, errands, a lot of this and a ton of that… but weaved through it all, so much goodness.
My sweet boy has been sick and only slightly irritable…
for entertainment, I gave him the task of taking a picture of things he is thankful for,
and I ♥ what he came up with…
As for me? The favorites I am thankful for…
My favorite bell ringers in all the land.
Grateful that I have a patient husband who smiles despite his son ringing the bells… from his foot.
Highlight of the week.
My mother dear.
She ran over in a pinch to sit with a napping child while I picked up his sister.
Later in the week rode along with us to keep us company.
Cannot take that for granted.
My most generous and handsome hubby.
He may very well be the world’s BEST gift giver… though the material isn’t his focus. He just knows how to bring out a smile. And when Lilly Pulitzer decided to make a print for my college sorority… he deemed it acceptable that I own a bit of that joy (despite the fact that I am long out of college, but who’s counting?) It arrived this week to a very excited teenager thirty-something. :)
Oh, and the hubby did homework duty. With willingness. And grace.
Martin the Merry Mouse
Our version of the ‘Elf on the Shelf’ takes MVP for this week’s favorites.
He brought smiles and REAL laughter, so sweet to a mother’s ears.
