It is best to keep myself accountable.

When dieting, promising, and attempting to conquer a ridiculously monotonous home improvement list {HERE}.  So in the name of personal achievement… here’s a look at my progress.

Get Serious, Real To-Do List

Home Edition

1. Order dining room chairs
2. Sitting room rug
3. Paint fireplace doors (brass to bronze)
4. Paint master bathroom vanity
5. Paint kids bathroom vanity
6. Frame mirror in kids bathroom
7. Finish curtains in son’s bedroom
8. Headboard for son’s bedroom
9. Refinish daughter’s dresser
10. Build daughter’s bed (w/ help from Ana White & my dad)
11. Remove wallpaper/Paint stairway
12. Paint upstairs woodwork: hallway, master bath, kids bath, sons bedroom, daughter’s bedroom, master bedroom
13. Paint kitchen table
14. Paint son’s bedroom/add board & batten

How about that?

With the majority of improvements involving paint, I’d say I’m moving right along.  In addition, I am currently on a first name basis with our Sherwin Williams guy and I left the house with green painter’s tape stuck to my bum.  Just for fun, I added #14; it will be the first project for hubby & me with our new saw… oh boy. 

But really, I am crazy excited with the changes around here.  Cannot wait to share the results!  In the meantime… a few sneak peeks of what’s cooking…
