These are good. Real good. Trust me.
Easy, so easy to make and even better to eat. Alone. Because if there are children, or husbands, or company around... you won't have as much fun. Or get to eat the filling straight from the bowl. I'm just saying.

Oatmeal Creme Pies
(cookies? pies?)
Cookie -
1 c margarine
3/4 c dark brown sugar
1/2 c sugar
1 Tbsp molasses
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
1 1/2 c flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1/8 tsp cinnamon
1 1/2 c quick oats
1 c margarine

Creme filling2 tsp very hot water
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup shortening
1 (7oz) jar marshmallow creme
1/3 c powdered sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 (7oz) jar marshmallow creme
1/3 c powdered sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Cream margarine, sugars, molasses, vanilla, and eggs. Combine flour, salt, baking soda, and cinnamon. Add to cream mixture and then mix in oats.
Drop by Tbsp onto ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350 for 10-12 min, until they are just starting to brown around the edges (will look moist). See below...
Filling:In a small bowl dissolve salt in hot water and allow to cool. Combine marshmallow creme, shortening, powdered sugar, and vanilla in medium bowl. Mix on high till fluffy. Then add cooled salt water and mix well. Spread filling on the flat side of one cookie and press 2nd cookie on top.
