So my items of "trash" were actually $1.00 each. Whoopee! And now my treasure reveal... I have to admit it is NOT creative. It is not original, it's a been there done that, are you really going to jump on the bandwagon type of fix. Old cork boards into a fabric message board. I can hear the collective sigh, er yawns of boredom.

Now listen, to me the best part was the fabric... it is a fun pink/white damask that I got on clearance for $4.50 a yard! Trust me, that is a pure steal for this fabric. (we have a great fabric store here in our town that is closing *tears* and it is still stocked with fabulous Amy Butler, Moda fabrics for half off!!!).AFTER
I was nuts about this fabric. It matched all of my daughter's bedding, pillows, etc. And it's pink, which makes me smile.
