Yes, Another Linky Party!!

Better late than never...

Thrifty Decor Chick is a having a Goodwill Party... as in the one-stop-everything-under-the-sun-deal shop. Although, I must admit, I have never shopped in a Goodwill (maybe once in college for a crazy 80's outfit)! I am amazed by all the finds, OH THE FINDS! Unbelievable... thankfully, that Thrifty Chic is including our goodies @ all secondhand locations....

Call it vanity, but I have quite the affinity for mirrors. Love 'em in all shapes, sizes, etc. My mother-in-law found a fantastic mirror at some antique store or sale... she has great finds! It was gold, gilded and worked for a while. I then spray painted it white for our guest room in our old house... Today she rests perfectly in our family room... destined to be a nice shade of brown. My total price: $5 spray paint. Yes indeed.


One of my house loves is this fabulous beauty... a perfect black mirror slightly aged with gold and hammered ever so slightly. I found this at a local furniture/decor shop.. they have a warehouse sale each summer for all their dinged, old, and last season items. While not a 'secondhand' item per say, it was cast to the side of the warehouse barn with a $30 PRICE TAG!!! I had the mirror put in for another $30.... I choke up just thinking about my luck. It is most definitely love.
